This project of mine is a simple 2D game created in Unity. The game is a action strategy game where you are a memeber of the ant colony, and by defeating enemies and gathering resources you can choose from a variety of different upgrades and enhancements to strengthen yourself and the Colony. You are in a race against time against the opposing any colony who is ever growing and expanding towards you!
This project was a learning project of mine where I was learning the in's and out's of Unity, its various features, as well as putting my programming to the test. Unfortunately I am not a great artist, and so many of the assets were found online or created by me, leading to a less than polished product. At this point in time, I have halted further development on the game as I believe I have learned everything I can from this project but don't see a gameplay loop that is strong enough to consider releasing. I will finish getting the current mechanics and systems completed then publish a downloadable game here and likely on the Google Play store.
Blender
